The article "The Job Market: Is a College Degree Worth Less" stood out to me. When I would think of why a college degree might mean less in our society today, I mainly thought of the fact that so many more people are going to college. This article explained that with so many people going to college, many more unskilled students are becoming degree holders. The degree no longer means as much since it is not nearly as hard to obtain one. I also found the "Plan B" article to be influential, because it really described the realities of going/not going to college and made you think about what is actually needed for the real world.
